2.1 Single Email Verification

Purpose	Verifies a single email address for correctness and deliverability. It checks syntax validity, MX record availability, SMTP server response, and whether the address belongs to a disposable, role-based, or free provider.
Configuration	Ensure the connector is configured with the base URL via `CONNECTOR_ENV_EXCHANGERATE_BASE_URL` environment variable.
Parameters	Required: access_key: Your API key (string, e.g., YOUR-API-KEY). Register at www.exchangerate-api.com to obtain. email: Email address to verify (string, e.g., user@example.com). Optional: smtp: Perform SMTP validation (boolean). format: Response format (string, e.g., json). callback: JSONP callback function name (string).
Output	Successful: Returns a JSON response such as: { "email": "user@domain.net", "format_valid": true, "mx_found": true, "smtp_check": true, "catch_all": false, "role": false, "disposable": false, "free": false, "score": 0.88 }

2.2 Bulk Email Verification

Purpose	Verifies multiple email addresses in a single request (up to 25 for Professional Plus, or 100 for Enterprise Plus plans). It performs the same checks as single verification but returns batch results.
Configuration	Ensure the connector is configured with the base URL via `CONNECTOR_ENV_EXCHANGERATE_BASE_URL` environment variable.
Parameters	Required: access_key: Your API key (string, e.g., YOUR-API-KEY). Register at www.exchangerate-api.com to obtain. emails: Comma-separated list of email addresses to verify (string, e.g., user1@example.com,user2@example.com). Optional: smtp: Perform SMTP validation (boolean). format: Response format (string, e.g., json). callback: JSONP callback function name (string).

Example Workflow: Bulk Email Validation and Quality Scoring

Single Email Check	Use `/check` to validate individual email inputs in a signup form. Display user-friendly messages for invalid emails.
Bulk Email Verification	For mailing lists or CRM imports, send `/bulk_check` with up to 100 addresses. Filter out disposable or undeliverable addresses using the `disposable`, `smtp_check`, and `score` fields.
Integration with GCP Workflows	Deploy the Flask service in Cloud Run or App Engine. Connect it to Apigee or Cloud Workflows for automation.
